Badass Jacks Subs and Wraps - Edmonton

Wanted to try it cause we are big fans of gourmet dogs. Overall it was very average. Kind of pricey, hotdogs were not hot enough. Restaurant is rather dated and grungy. Honestly we probably won't go back and will just stick with a Fat Franks.

Can't say I am a big fan of hot-dogs or smokies, but my daughter is and she says she was impressed. I on the other hand have combed Edmonton in search of the best fried chicken in the city and can safely say they are in the top 3 for me! Crispy without being greasy, with a little kick and and quite juicy. If you like the dipping sauces, ask them to add it as a side so as to not get that crispy skin all soggy (especially if you order delivery.)

Thought we'd try it. My son likes hot dogs. Found a wide variety of hot dogs and enjoyed the fried chicken.

We ordered the sweet and slick fried chicken, the fried chicken, BBQ grilled boneless thighs and one combo. The sweet and spicy fried chicken was my favourite. The skin was crispy and not greasy. The sweet and spicy sauce was delicious. The chicken was succulent and tasty. Not greasy and heavy. We ordered the truffle mac n cheese hot dog as part of the combo and it is as delicious as it sounds. The BBQ thighs were alittle salty but were tasty and well cooked. You have to register your licence plate with them when you enter for parking reasons. It is a hole in the wall, no frills joint. You order at the till, you grab a table and they call out your order and you pick it up. Will definitely go back!
