1st RND - Edmonton

I was always intrigued by 1st Round . I finally decided to give it a try. First impression when walking in was that it was a decent sports bar with a lot of TVs and a great place to watch the game, could be loud depending where you are seated. The interior was very large and there was plenty of seating. The menu was quite large and there were a lot of different chicken wing choices. Overall, everything was better than expected. The food was very good, both of us had burgers with Fries. The Service was just OK, we were placed at the back of the bar in a corner at that time there was almost no one else in the area...Hence maybe not the best service or on bad night for the waitress, as we had to ask others wait staff to get refills.But we will give it another try.

Managed to get in to watch the US vs. Canada Junior Hockey game. The place was packed. Noise level was pretty good, considering the crowd. Service was fast and friendly. Beer specials daily, food is aweseome. I highly recommend the Garlic Parmesan Buffalo Boneless Wings. My wife said that the Onion Rings were fantastic. Reasonable prices, lots of big TV screens. And the seating is setup so that you don't feel too crowded.

1st Rnd has always had great food and excellent service since I tried it over a year ago in West Ed. Service is very good and all the servers are very friendly. Its also nice how the managers come around to make sure everything is going good. Large TVs are great to watch sports and the beer selection is awesome. I would definitely recommend going to 1st Rnd!

This bar has many television screens so you can watch any game imaginable. There are decent specials on big brewery beer but also a nice selection of craft beers. The food is standard bar fare but very tasty. Great for large groups.

This place is great during "busy times." Otherwise it is pretty dead (like most places in Edmonton.) Good vibe, lots of big TV's, and nice beer selection.
