D'vine Bistro - Edmonds

Whenever we are waiting for the ferry in Kingston we stop by one of the nearby spots for a drink. Never went to d'Vine. Today I was feeling like a change and I'm so happy with this little place! Micki, the owner, is adorable and compliments that with a great personality. I didn't have any food, but I watched plates pass by and it all looked and smelled amazing. I don't want to keep going on and on about this place (my new toy! , even though I could. I'll leave you with this advice: I wish I would've stopped in a long time ago. Don't end up like me...

Our party opted for a spontaneous sailing from Seattle to Kingston. After we have some fantastic crepes on the street, we decided to check d'Vine for a wine. What a fabulous decision. Micki asked us a few questions and then recommended 3 bottles that were all excellent. She also fixed us with a delicious charcuterie from different cheeses, meats and more. She knows her wines and was as friendly as she was worth knowing. Very recommended. Thank you. Micki!

Amazing food and romantic atmosphere! We had the tomato risotto and incredibly wide noodles dish! Super friendly server and beautiful date night! Thank you for such a nice evening! Get out and support You're a local business! These are small gems in our small cities! Let us do everything to support them!

Don't stop here if you are planning to catch the ferry. It took over 20 minutes for someone to even come to our table and give us a glass of water. (And there were, at most, 4 other tables. It was pretty empty) I ordered the steak, and was disappointed at the size. Honestly, it was the smallest steak I've ever seen. (About the size of a computer mouse) To make matters worse, it took over 30 minutes to get our food. That's on top of the 20 minutes we waited for someone to even acknowledge us. The waiter seemed to ignore us every time he passed by. We had to flag him down to order food, get a drink, and the check. I don't think he ever actually stopped to check on us unless we waved him over. Maybe it was just an off-night for the staff (judging by the reviews) but this was a terrible experience all around and we will not be back.

That's a wonderful place. My fish dish was the best I had in a very long time. The atmosphere is peaceful. And the owner is sweet. Very recommended place on the ferry with a view of the port.
