The One Cafe - Edmond

This is one of my favorite places to go in Edmond! Benny and his wife Jessie are the epitome of customer service. They remember who you are and your order every time. You MUST try the poke bowls but be warned, they are highly addictive!

My husband and I have been going weekly for years.  We love the fresh food, the good healthy choices, and the friendly greetings of Bennie and his wife, Jessie.  Their combos of crisp salads with sandwiches, panini and crepes  are always our favorites.  They also have poke bowls, smoothies, soup in season, and wonderful desert crepes, all very reasonably priced.  They are know for their take-out orders as well.

Had lunch here today. Service was good, not great and the food was unremarkable. It was fresh, hot, but totally pedestrian. With so many other options that are great around here, we won't be back.

On the recommendation of a friend, I tried one of the Poke Bowls with sushi rice, cucumber, avocado, green onion, salmon, spicy tuna and spicy mayo. If you are unfamiliar with poke bowls, like me, it's essentially deconstructed sushi. It was good, but there were flaws in the execution. The salmon wasn't cubed well (several pieces were still attached together), and the spicy tuna was ground up. There was plenty of both, but more vegetables and less rice would be preferable. I will likely be back to try one of their crepes.

Super friendly service, delicious crepes, decent coffee, all for a price that won't bust your wallet. I have a pretty big appetite but their crepe was daunting!
