We ordered the chicken in chili oil, spiced ox tripe, roasted pork feet, roasted steamed bread, and the hot spicy seafood (the massive main). Our servers Benny and Tina were awesome ? they were attentive, kind, and informative. We had never been here before and they patiently answered lot of questions about the menu and checked on us often. If the pictures aren?t telling enough, the food was incredible. There wasn?t a single dish that we didn?t like, but the spicy seafood was absolutely the highlight! The massive dish comes on a heated platter and includes plenty of fish, squid, crab, lotus root, kelp, konjac and more in a spicy sauce and could feed 3-4 people. We definitely over-ordered but now have plenty of leftovers to enjoy! If you love spicy Szechuan food, and great bang for your buck, this place is for you. We?ll definitely be back, even though it?s an hour drive away!
My family and I stopped by Hot Space last night, and enjoyed it a lot! The inside was very nicely designed and we got some booth seats which were quite comfortable. The waiters and waitresses were very courteous and helpful as well! We ordered the chicken with chili sauce appetizer, a lamb skewer, the stinky tofu pot (which was not too stinky haha), and the barramundi fish pot with spicy garlic sauce and veggies. The food was delicious! They also provided peanuts/sunflower seeds at the very beginning, and gave us each a small bowl of jelly dessert at the end, and we liked that it wasn?t too sweet. Overall great experience!
Came here once with 3 friends and it?s a really interesting concept! Basically for your entree you can pick choose from type of fish, sauce, and all kinds of sides/extras, and then they bring your table a huge heated tray with what you order! The serving size seems really meant for multiple people so it was a good thing we had 4 of us. Cucumbers in spicy sauce are delicious. Lamb skewers are nice though I may prefer the ones from the nearby Dunhuang better. All in all I can see myself coming here when I have a craving for specially prepared, Asian/Sichuan style fish. A few other notes: for some reason they have a life sized War Machine character armor. Awesome even if it doesn?t uh, match the decor haha Parking is easy as this is located in the big H Mart plaza getting dessert nearby at Mango Mango or Meet Fresh was perfect palate cleanser
Very nice experience here at HOT SPACE. Interior is very clean and tables are well distanced from each other. The staff members are nice and helpful with suggestions. While the fish and hot pot didn?t fit my taste as much as I had hoped, I cant deny how delicious it was. Absolutely recommend checking this place out if you love spicy food.
Definitely a place to go with a group (of 4+ unless you're all big eaters). The lamb skewer was the best of the 3 we tried (beef [not pictured], pork rib, and lamb). The beef was a little tough inside, and the pork rib has bones in some of the pieces. We got the black pepper oyster sauce striped bass. The fish want that spicy unless you ate a part with a lot of black pepper. It was relatively easy to pick the meat off the bones. The fried rice tastes like sticky rice, and it's a little salty. Somehow, the artic surf clams were spicier than the chicken, but they were both good.
