My wife and I spent our last day in Edinburgh and found the oldest pub in town, so we decided to have a meal there. The service was excellent, although it did take a while for someone to come and check on us. Overall, it was an amazing and enjoyable experience.

This restaurant is fantastic - the service is great, the food is excellent, and the staff is very helpful even though we had to wait for our table. I would definitely recommend this place.

We visited in early September and noticed that the wait staff seemed tired from the influx of tourists. They appeared low on energy and were lacking in smiles and friendliness, going through the motions in a robotic manner. However, considering the high number of international tour buses and daily visitors to the city, it is understandable why they may have been weary. Despite this, the food was excellent and the ambiance was great.
