Soderberg, The Meadows Middle Meadow Walk

This is my favorite coffee shop in Edinburgh! I love the airy, spacious, and bright interior, especially on a sunny day. The cinnamon rolls are out of this world, and the coffee has never disappointed me. Soderberg also employs very friendly baristas, making it a pleasure to return. I really appreciate that they offer a 50p discount for bringing your own cup!

The cardamom bunks are great! I would also highly recommend the spelt cakes that they do not look very fancy, but they are totally delicious. also soderberg follow gowt covid policies carefully and the caffe feels very safe.

I would give this place a perfect 10/10! The cinnamon and coffee were absolutely delightful, and they offer soy and oat milk too. I really enjoyed my time here; it has a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. However, the downside is that there are no vegan options available for breakfast—there's no vegan yogurt for the granola or milk alternatives for the porridge. Despite that, their pastries are fantastic, and it's definitely worth a visit!

The hot chocolate is fantastic! However, it's disappointing that the chocolate balls taste nothing like chocolate. One bite and you're overwhelmed by a strong coffee flavor. I recommend sticking with the cinnamon rolls instead.
