Relish Deli - Edinburgh

I originally went to relish on the hunt after a good olive oil. When I saw the charming black board menu and the unsurpassed seating, I could not resist ordering an early lunch. as a massive goat cheese fan I decided to have a rocket, sun-dried tomato salad and a flat white. the waitress/shop assistant was nice and the food came right away. the coffee came in a large part for a flat white. it was good, but it didn't have the rich after the taste I expected from a flat white and therefore didn't blow me away. I had a similar experience with salat. all ingredients were good, especially the sun-dried tomatoes, but the rocket was not as fresh as I would have wished. that said that she doesn't stumble on the goat cheese I appreciated. all in all it was a pleasant meal and I would definitely come back, but it would have been much better if there were more attention to the quality of the ingredients.

My favorite café in Edinburgh! I had a wonderful time on Sunday with my friends; the food and coffee were as amazing as always! A big thank you to the wonderful staff.

Amazing sandwiches with lots of different delicious filings. Freshly made. Not your usual boring standard ham and cheese sandwiches like most coffee shop sells. Great coffee.

Relish is a very practical deli located in Leith-Bäden, featuring beautiful glassware and neatly stacked packages along the wall, as well as a tempting display of cakes, bread, and antipasti at the counter. I typically use this place for takeout rather than caffeine, and I plan to continue doing so. The seating is comfortable, but it feels less like a café and more like a friendly neighborhood spot. Although I haven't tried the coffee, the tea is good and comes in generous pots. The bacon sandwiches are served with their own bottle of tomato ketchup or brown sauce, which is a lovely touch. The bread here is excellent, as are the cakes. It's a fantastic deli and a nice café, definitely worth a visit.
