The Curry Cafe - Edinburgh, City of

One of the best curry house ever seen around seen. Portion is excellent with a reasonable price. Worthy to visit once.

Its a small but cosy cafe with great food and very nice and helpfull staff. Love their lamb kebab. Good take away service aswell.

On a recent visit to Edinburgh my girlfriend and I were looking for a decent curry house, we found this one through TripAdvisor's City Guide App (Highly recommended if you're in this part of Scotland). The restaurant itself has limited space but this only serves...to add to the charm of the place. We entered and were the only customers there at the time, I don't know if this biased our impression of the service but it was fantastic throughout. We were greeted at the door with a smile and showed to our seats, the server then went on to comprehensively explain the restaurants dedication to quality food. He implored us to point out any flaws in our meals immediately if we found them, eradicating any sense of awkwardness that can sometimes pervade restaurant visits should the food be unsatisfactory. There was no doubt that this restaurant was willing to take criticism and improve its food upon it, an honourable quality in any restaurant in my books! Thankfully no criticism was necessary, the food was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and I was even offered a job as I dined! I had to decline on account of the fact that I live in London (I reckon I'd have been late for a few shifts but such an offer only serves to emphasise the inclusive experience that The Curry Cafe provides. If you're in Edinburgh and looking for a great night out and fantastic food then look no further than The Curry Cafe. It is a restaurant dedicated to top quality customer service and top quality food.

Great atmosphere calming jazz music while we enjoyed a tasty meal. We has the pakora, which was super delicious and the dipping sauces were awesome! The curries we had were also delicious you could taste how fresh the ingredients were. The customer service...was brilliant. You won't be disappointed when you go here

We ate here as a group of recently and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We'd had carry out from here before and we got a voucher online so decided to try eating in. The food and service were excellent. The menu is brief but with...enough variety to give some choice. The restaurant have clearly decided to focus on doing a smaller number of dishes we'll rather than having the huge menu you get in many curry houses which so often results in bland dishes. Would strongly recommend.
