The Clay Oven - Edinburgh, City of

It was a great experience with the clay oven. I ordered chicken tikka khumbi dupiaza and chicken badshahi for my family. it was fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed eating.

The search for new and interesting Indian places brought us into the small collection of them in morningside. the clay oven was our choice, tonight, and we will try again morningside spice and the others, at a given time. I was accompanied by crick who asked many painters, most recently india with mother as he is a great fan of Indian food.

Use Clay Oven often and it didn’t disappoint tonight. A good selection of dishes for 6 of us and we all enjoyed it. Thank you again. We shall be back!!

First time customers last night and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The Prawn Puri in particular was excellent. Delivery was 25 minutes later than we expected and, whilst not a big issue, it would have been good to have got a text telling us it was on its way. Very nice food and we will use again. One star off for late delivery with no notification!

Went for an early evening meal and really enjoyed the buffet. I tend to avoid these on the grounds of quality but this was a good range of chicken veg and lamb. Good service from very friendly staff and great value for money. Recommended
