Starbucks Royal Mile

This restaurant is always a dependable choice for coffee and food, and this location lived up to that reputation. They have a great variety of treats, both hot and cold. We decided on red velvet cake and an iced caramel latte for me, and a speculoos muffin and hot chocolate for my friend. We chose to sit outside to soak up the winter sun and do some people-watching. As expected, both our drinks and cakes were delicious and we both enjoyed them. The location is nice with a lot of foot traffic, and the service was quick.

Please don’t work in the hospitality service if you have no intention of being hospitable or polite.

Called here for the rugby match mid morning. Nice coffee, but place was a little untidy. Tables had not been cleared.

Shocking. Only word to describe it. Coffee was half full, asked to fill up to level of others and they threw a bit of froth on top. Could barely sort it out at the third time of asking!!! Hot chocolate worst I’ve ever tasted. £3.30 for a half filled cup of hot water. Don’t go there folks. Also claims to be a sustainable business and environmentally friendly yet gives single use plastic/paper disposable cups to every sit in customer that walks through the door. And this when they have a stack of clean reusable mugs behind the counter! Lousy and lazy. Boycott immediately

Very poor experience. Coffee was grand but staff were quiet ride and the place was filthy! I was actually afraid I'd catch something from the toilets they were so bad.. if its busy then more staff is needed maybe. Nappies popping out of bins and all
