Sodaeng - Edinburgh, City of

I've recently started working in the area and came across this little gem today. I decided to pop in for lunch and I'm so happy I did! Once I ordered my Dak Galbi the server came up and gave me 3 wee dishes of appetisers. Finally my food arrived and I was not disappointed! It tasted so delicious! Not badly priced either, and the server was lovely too! I'll definitely come back here at some point and recommend this to everyone! Next time I'll make sure I master using chopsticks! Gamsahamnida!

My girlfriend absolutely loves Korean cuisine and Sodaeng is one of her favourite in Edinburgh. It is not hard to see why as everything tastes delicious. It is good for lunch and dinner. I would recommend any Jjigae since they all taste amazing. Would definitely revisit.

I visit here with friends quite frequently. We always enjoy the authentic Korean food very much. The BYOB service is brilliant.

The Korean food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious and comes at a reasonable price. Our waitress Tessa was incredibly helpful and friendly, and she recommended some great vegan and vegetarian options for us. Although it's BYOB, they also have a great selection of cold drinks available. I highly recommend trying the Aloe Juice.

We visited as a family of 4, and were told that it would be a 30 minute wait. After waiting for 30 minutes out in the cold, the manager then comes out to turn us away, because they had apparently taken reservations WHILE WE WERE WAITING. I wish I could give a review but alas that will not be possible. An extremely disgusting display of hospitality and I can say that I will never revisit. DO NOT VISIT IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND WANT TO BE TREATED WITH EVEN A MODICUM OF RESPECT.
