The chips and cheese were not the typical fare, but instead came on a smaller plate with large chips topped with guacamole, beans, and sour cream. We ended up ordering another round. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and the service was attentive and friendly. Don't leave Edinburgh without trying Pancho Villa's!
This Mexican restaurant on the Royal Mile is one of the best I've tried. The colorful interiors and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered lentil soup, cheese and bean quesadillas, and fried tacos along with appetizers and cranberry juice. The vegetarian quesadillas were a standout, and the lentil soup was delicious with melted cheese throughout. The only disappointment was the fried tacos, which were a bit overrated in our opinion. Overall, it was a great dining experience.
There is no shortage of good Mexican restaurants in the old town. The tacos al pastor at this particular restaurant are absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is fantastic too. However, the prices are a bit high for what you get. It wouldn't hurt to include an extra taco on the plate.
Margaritas and fajitas. my favorite sex in the city! combo fajita’s are spicy and a favorite of mins every time I go. margaritas are deadly and freshly made try the strawberry!
