The meat and fish portions were small and the rice and noodles far too much. We ordered the crispy duck, it was so crispy and black that even the dogs wouldn't eat it. I wouldn't recommend this place unless it's a last resort.
Although I enjoyed my lunch and thought that it was very tasty (particularly the prawns) I couldn’t help but feel that the food wasn’t anything special.
We found this place 2 years ago at a visit to edinburgh for the six nations rugby (scotland w wales), and we were very pleased that it is still going, and still good. it is easy to share from the busiest parts of edinburgh, but it is worth looking for it. we were a party of 8 of this time, sitting quite fast served although we were at the end as the last table in the restaurant! eating was excellent, we have divided various items, including the peking duck, jump rolls, crispy beef and much more. we all, including vegetarians, really enjoyed us.
Beautiful and cozy Chinese restaurant. the decor is really comfortable and the staff is very friendly. the suppen were really delicious and the rice, even the remaining dishes were really nice.
I was recommended by a friend for this place. in his words the best Chinese in edinburgh'. I really need to show him where to eat the place is nice, the decor is good and the atmosphere is warning, or a bit dark for my pleasure. actually it really gets hot and I had some spicy foods and I sweated like a pig that I ordered the hot and acid soup, soft bowl crab in saat and pfeffer to start. the suppe was nice not to run or thick and sweet had crisp.
