Five Guys - Edinburgh, City of

The food is tasty, but the prices for burgers are quite high. The calling out of order numbers for milkshakes was not very organized and chaotic.

I would like to thank the assistant manager Nico for the poor customer service that was received at this restaurant. Nico was very rude and patronizing, and I am unsure how someone in a management position could behave in such a manner. A complaint has been raised with the head office and I will be posting a full review shortly.

Exceptionally busy at 8pm on a Friday night (really to be expected), quick to get order in, then a long wait for the food to come out. The burger was good. Was it worth the extra cost compared to a micky d's or Burger King? I'm going to say no. Nobody cleaning the tables but the customers did seem a lot more on top about doing this themselves. Maybe that's what you are paying for?

Five guys is five guys wherever you go atmosphere and aesthetic wise but I was really let down by the food. I'm normally ok to have the chips as someone with a gluten intolerance but on this occasion I had a really bad reaction and am still not sure why so I don't think I'll be heading back to five guys for a while.

Great food and good portion sizes. Reasonably priced for the amount you get. Could do to have a microphone so you can here your number bein called.
