Second trip to the last night of the night of the night and we dined in a group of 4. known with the locals and was quite busy when we were there. honored with very friendly hosts and a good list of specials. the menu has a set of options. I chose carpaccio and kalbsalinboca. carpaccio was excellent, very delicate. was really let off the calfs, it was dry in sharing. the service was good, but eating was not on my expectations after the last time.

Great local restaurant! beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. we ate from the lunch menu, which was very valuable in terms of the standard of eating.

Simply the best local restaurant in edinburgh. Dantes is brilliant. I have been going there since the opening, and while the menu has gone through many iterations, it has always looked at the spirit of the refined Italian classics. The Calamari, duck and veal are special highlights. But you really can't go wrong. To murder a cliché, Sandro and the team will make you feel like at home from the moment you enter.
