We went berry-picking in the fields, had a lot of fun selecting various fruits, and then enjoyed some delicious brioche sandwiches at the café. The food was all very tasty, especially the fluffy and flavorful brioche bungalow. Before leaving, we checked out the butcher shop and were impressed by the high-quality products on offer. We also picked up some amazing black loin and house-made vinegar. The service was excellent, with the staff being helpful and friendly. A big shoutout to the team - keep up the great work, and we'll definitely be back soon!
I had such a great experience on craigies farm! kürbis picking is something that I wanted to do one thing and it was so funny at her farm. they have a wide range of fruits veg to choose and the most beautiful shop where they can buy their own products such as eggs, cheese, jam etc. overall loved it and would recommend to everyone!
Good place to spend half a day here on the farm. choose their own fruits become famous and one has to do once a year to feel the agricultural. Craigie’s is located near edinburgh. we spend a good walk around the earthly and heavenly fields to get some. that was a good fun, but muddy because of the rain yesterday as expected. but sunny day to complement our whole time with craigie. it has been for several years since we visited this place, improved caffe, children's playground and better parking area new and surprise for us. good eating, local and Scottish products through the farm shop. good size of quantity, but friendly staff to manage. we'll go back next year.
Only a fun place to go to do their own fruit picking. this is really fresh fruit better than all the great food chain prepacks. we love the strawberry cirches, apples and plant and all kinds of sweet and crumble. the shop also has homemade jams and Scottish bakery. the children loved it. especially the goats and chickens.
The restaurant is easy to find with plenty of parking available. I booked online in advance for two people, with a £10 fee that can be used towards any produce you pick. It was my first visit and I can't wait to return in October for pumpkins. The fields already had some large pumpkins growing. There are hand washing facilities at the entrance near the strawberry-shaped pods where you can have your produce weighed. On this visit, we picked leeks, spring onions, green and golden courgettes, corn, French beans, mint, basil, flat leaf parsley, blackcurrants, and raspberries. The plum trees by the strawberries had some good ones if you're tall enough to reach them. We also found some ripe raspberries on the ground. The raspberries on top of the plants were large and delicious. We took our produce to be weighed and spent approximately £25, with £10 of that being covered by the entrance fee. There is a farm shop on site selling everything you can pick, as well as fresh eggs. At around 2:30 pm, there were bunches of onions, lettuce, peppers, and avocados available. They also had a butcher counter, cheese counter, and a selection of chocolates. The ice cream flavors were delicious too. The shop also has toilets available. Overall, I loved the experience and will definitely be back.
