Peoples Organic - Edina

I would rate the service at four stars. There was about a 45-minute wait between when the first entree was served and when the last one arrived. That said, we were in a private room for my father's wake with around nine adults. I understand the delay given the circumstances, but I believe better coordination could have helped.

Before the pandemic, this restaurant at the Galeria location was excellent. However, my visit this week was a huge disappointment. I ordered a cheeseburger and a bison burger with decaf coffee. We were the only ones dining indoors, and there were just 2-3 tables occupied outside. I requested fries and a salad as sides, but I received fries with both burgers instead. The fries were cold, and the buns were also cold, which meant the burgers were barely warm. I've never experienced anything like this before. If I could, I'd give it zero stars.

This fantastic restaurant offers the flexibility to choose from their breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus at any time of day. We tried a variety of dishes and shared them among ourselves to sample as many flavors as possible. Our favorites were the guacamole and chips, as well as the pancakes made from wild rice, which were served with real maple syrup and apple butter. The iced coffee was also delicious. The prices are reasonable, and the service was attentive. We visited the restaurant on a Tuesday evening, a quieter time for dining, which was pleasant for us as it created a relaxing atmosphere.

The food was good, not amazing. The fries were really really good though! I love the new location and patio. Very spacious and not too crowded. We had a nice long meal, and were allowed to sit and catch up with friends. Overall if you are already atSouthdale and looking for a nice fresh meal, this is a good place to go.

I absolutely love this restaurant! Every time I visit, the staff is friendly, and the food is always delicious. My favorites are the grilled salmon and the chicken with wild rice. The new location is larger, providing plenty of space, and I feel comfortable sitting inside. Additionally, they have live music on Thursday evenings, which is a nice touch!
