The Pit - Edgewater

This restaurant is truly stunning. I stumbled upon it after filming at the marina and was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the food was. The pulled pork sandwich was absolutely delicious. Although the restaurant is small, I wish I lived closer so I could come here more often. My only suggestion would be to add more fries to the plate. Other than that, the dining experience was excellent!

My husband and I initially came to this restaurant to try the cornbread that we had heard so much about, but ended up staying for lunch. I ordered the crispy flounder and my husband got the brisket sandwich, and of course we also ordered the cornbread. Everything was delicious. The flounder was beautifully crispy and not greasy at all, served on a soft bun with a side of perfectly cooked vegetables. The brisket was also wonderfully juicy and seasoned to perfection. The cornbread lived up to its reputation as well. Not only was the food amazing, but the owner was very welcoming and encouraged us to try different items on the menu.

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a delightful meal. The pulled pork was fantastic, as were the fries and coleslaw. The burger was also delicious and a good size. The fish dish was also enjoyable. The food was prepared quickly and it was easy to pick up. Overall, the meal was delicious, easy to order, and served promptly.

Excellent pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches, big mac and cheese. extremely friendly staff and they deliver.

Very good BBQ..the brisket melts in your mouth the beans was very flavorful and the split pea soup is amazing!!!!Only problem i had was no utensils so that kinda dampened the mood but still 5 star food!
