Yumi Bento Japanese Restaurant

this is my time when eating in the nedlands filiale. have ordered the rams on both travels. it was good time and I bless it ever since. the youngest journey was a hit and miss to me. the broth is tasteless and too soft for my pleasure. Moreover, the caps on the water were dirty and you can see clearly black spots on it. ewww.

not too bad for a small succulent piece sashimi that meets the place. they have a ok choice, but in any case would benefit from an additional dish or on the menu

Yesterday I visited here as I had some good experiences with such places. I ordered chilihuhn my partner ordered rindfleisch teriyaki, both with rice express a common drink on the first when the food arrived, I was not impressed. it looked like it was literally thrown together, there was hardly any flesh that the rice was a strange texture. the chili huhn was just that, no other taste than chili my partner bark was cheap cuts of meat with a hauch of taste off teryiak. we're finished left! We decided not to eat here again. When I arrived at home, I felt a little sick, I could continue with our night at dinner, I couldn't eat, I was totally painful. read more

This is more of a cafe than a restaurant but damm if the food isn't great! It's your standard Japanese Bento/sushi place but it's run and staffed by actual Japanese people and it makes all the difference The food is always VERY fresh and you have the usual range of sushi rolls, bento boxes etc for take-aways but its worth sitting down and having an in-house bento meal such as teriyaki chicken or kara-age etc etc For example with the teriyaki chicken for you get Miso soup, the bento tray which comes with not only the main teriyaki chicken but also side salad, sushi rolls, vinegared salad, and fried tofu and hard boiled egg in a sticky sweet sauce. FED UP NOT GOING BACK. Card on the door says open pm days. On Tue I arrived at pm but was turned away as the kitchen was closing. So the following Sunday I thought to make sure I arrive at way before so I arrived at pm just in time to witness the doors closing ! I won't be going back again
