The Terrace At The Charlotte Inn

Our last visit was 22 years ago and we were delighted to see that the decor was exactly the same, and gleaming! It’s a gorgeous little historic gem. The service was first rate and my martini was perfection. The only miss was the food. The serving of beef carpaccio was oddly tiny and seared at the edges, and the Dover Sole for $83 might as well have been tilapia and it was overcooked! The pasta with truffles had zero truffle flavor.

Food was delicious but small portions. Outdoor atmosphere was wonderful.

Wonderful restaurant in every way! Excellent wine and food. Vichyssoise! Lamb chops that melt in your mouth! YUM! Great place to celebrate or just relax and be treated royally.

The cocktails were disappointing at such a high end restaurant to be served with too much ice, tall glasses, long straws, and very little alcohol. Later than 7 is best for reservations IF you're out to see people, as we were only 1 of 2 parties with a 6 o'clock.

Not worth the money. Limited menu. Nothing was spectacular .
