Catch of the Terrace - EDGARTOWN

We said there was a two-hour waiting time when we went up at 19:00, but the menu looked so skurril on herbal foods. we decided to go for it. the hostesses suggested a few bars near where we could have a drink while waiting for our table. the bar above the street was the winner and so was her smokey marg and golden boy (that is another rating). the friendliness and real care of the hostesses has beaten us because we would normally only walk away from a two-hour waiting. After we get a place at the bar and order a drink, we were told that our table was ready and they would keep it for us 10 minutes. we drove down the drinks and went back to the good news that there was a reservation canceling. yay! they sat on a romantic outside table with a candle light path and lights up. all the staff were so friendly. they have made our photo for us. but we had to start the Canellini-Bohnen-Humus, then we had tormented and a calal salad...both so tasteful. we finally shared a mushroom ragu. heavenly. oh, and the drinks were good to lavender been knie and a slingshot. very kreatiw and well presented. ok, if this restaurant could open a filiale in houston!

The covington has really good cocktailsthe appetizers have a few vegan options spicy gurks, hummus, olive and brot with olive oil (subbutter). I have the cale salate and the only vegan pornstar that mushroom ragu is both beautiful! pricey, but this is expected on mw. make sure that reservations are as far as possible.

The hostesses’ friendliness and genuine care struck us because normally we would just walk away from a two-hour wait. After getting a spot at the bar and ordering a drink, we were messaged that our table was ready and they would hold it for us for 10 minutes. We downed the drinks and headed back to the good news that there was a reservation cancellation. Yay! They seated us at a romantic outside table with a candle-lit pathway and lights above. All the staff were so friendly. They took our picture for us. But the food y’all! We had the canellini bean hummus to start, then smoked beets and a kale salad…both so very flavorful. Finally we shared a mushroom ragu. Heavenly. Oh, and the drinks were good too-lavender bee’s knees and a slingshot. Very creative and well presented. Okay wish this restaurant could open a branch in Houston!

I got the kale salad and the only vegan main which is mushroom ragu both lovely! Pricey but that’s expected on MV. Make sure to make reservations as far in advance as possible.

This is hands down the most creative and intentional restaurant for vegans. ive been living here for two years and the covington is really the only place i’ll go out for dinner…the island has a long way to go in terms of creating more plant based dishes and using less animals animal by products. hopefully the covington leads the way! i usually see about 2-4 starters that can be veganized, one vegan pasta dish, and a vegan dessert. for the island, that’s hard to find!!
