The food was great, and the atmosphere was exactly what you’d expect from a sports bar. It’s improved compared to how it was over ten years ago, especially with all the changes they’ve made. However, I do miss the variety of delicious salad options they used to offer; now there are only a few, and they’re not very exciting. This time we tried the appetizers, and the chicken tenders were tasty. The service was quick as well.

On September 1, 2022, our server was Derek, and he was absolutely wonderful! I enjoyed our conversation and the attentive service. I also had my 9-year-old grandson with me. The food was fantastic! Thank you, Derek, for making our Mommom-grandchild outing so special! Best, Brenda Mathews.

I absolutely love this restaurant! They removed the Black Blue Bourbon Burger from the menu, which featured black blue cheese crumbles, bourbon sauce, bacon, and smoked onions. Despite that, the burger I ordered was still fantastic. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't communicate my preference for a medium-rare burger to our waiter, as it seems they don’t provide that option anymore. I find it a bit concerning when there aren't clear options for cooking temperatures. The food itself was excellent, though! Thank you! However, the service was lacking, which seems to be a trend in many places these days.

As a server, I have very low service standards and know a learning curve for this industry. I understand mistakes and don't like writing bad reviews. But I had an rude service experience here and feel like people should be aware. I was there before two friends were. re all 21 so I ordered a beer while I waited. The bartender was great and professional (the only reason this is not a Star Review), and I was impressed by their selection of beers. When my friends showed up, I offered them a taste of it, and I really didn't think of it since they did? re both over 21 and have drunk with them many times. The manager (a woman with silver hair) told us rudely to put the beer down until they all carved. They all showed their IDs and she went, but I heard that she spoke from us to an employee later. We have been so worried about how this has been handled since us? re all in the service industry and have management experience. I asked to talk to her about the interaction, and she remained rude, even though I just wanted to diffuse the tension for a misunderstanding. She told me that she apologized (she did?t) and that we should close and go our tabs. I never had an interaction like this and honestly don't think that the manager needed to handle it, especially given the fact that the only thing we did was give a sip of beer to someone before you cared? which was immediately solved by them with their valid statements. We told her that she could? ve stopped us in a friendly way, but she made it obvious that she wasn't interested in receiving feedback or even apologising. I wouldn't go back here.

Old Chicago is an awesome bar and restaurant!! The food is always so delicious. The personal pizzas and calzones are so generous in size that they could feed two people!! The burgers are enormous, as well! They also serve over 100 different types of beers as well as having an extensive drink selection? The OC Mai Tai is the bomb ? All the servers are are friendly and attentive. Thank you for making my visit so fantastic, again ?
