Lowther Barn Cafe - Eden

We stopped here on our way from Howton Pier back to Glenridding and it was a most welcome stop. Nice cake and tea, though not overwhelming broad selection. We were clever enough to use the loos before continuing our trip, which is really to be recommended. Still took us a very long time to arrive at our final destination...

Very unexpected to find this place here, walking back to Glenridding from the Howtown stop on the ferry. The owners were super friendly and welcoming. We stopped and chatted to them over tea and cakes. Great little cafe. Recommended.

Lovely little place to stop on our walk, wasn’t expecting to find such a gem in the middle of nowhere! Jas was very friendly and welcoming and the coffee and ice cream were just what we needed.

Walking in the lake district is a wonderful way to pass your time, but, its even better when you come across a café for some welcome refreshments. Lovely service, very clean and welcoming.
