Century Chinese - Eden

I spent over £100 on a takeaway and asked if prawn crackers were included. The answer was a quick NO. Even after explaining that I had just spent a significant amount of money, I was still told no. If I had known beforehand, I would have chosen to eat elsewhere. Overall, it was not a great experience. The food was very average, which was disappointing.

Had an excellent evening meal here whilst on an overnight stay in Kirkby Stephen. Very smart upstairs restaurant takeaway downstairs . Very nice food from extensive menu, prompt service.

Food was delicious. We had 3 courses and everything was tasty, and cooked superbly. The young lady looking after the restaurant was polite and friendly, and very helpful. Will definitely go again next time we are in the area.

As a big fan of Chinese food we decided to visit Century whilst staying at a caravan park nearby. I can honestly say it was one of the best Chinese meals I have ever had. Every dish tasted sublime and the 5 of us gobbled the lot. The new member of staff was extremely helpful and added a relaxed atmosphere to the evening with us chatting to her between courses. Great place and lovely food.

Arrived here today for a weeks holiday to find the Chinese restaurant is closed until the 26th of July, was here last year and it was fantastic meal , very disappointed that there was no notice on tripadvisor as I always read before I go anywhere
