Peddlers Cafe Catering - Eden

Stopped by to get some to-go desserts; they were pretty pricy (over $12 for a small piece of cake and a pumpkin scone). The chocolate banana cake wasn’t bad, but not something I would go back for. The scone was honestly terrible; even warmed up it was quite dry and we couldn’t finish it even with three of us (and we are not people who leave desserts uneaten). Overall, the place looked beautiful, had a peaceful atmosphere, and the servers were nice, but prices seemed high even for the area and I definitely wouldn’t go back for dessert.

Ordered mocha latte and ice mocha latte, got hot chocolate and latte after 10 min wait.... The second attempt was a little bit faster but mocha lattes were pretty sad compared to most of the normal coffee shops. Food was ok but somewhat on the sad side as well. Nestled just a stone's throw away, Peddlers Cafe was the breakfast haven my cousins frequently sought. A short journey led us to its doorstep, where a modern cabin-style ambiance welcomed us in. As our orders graced the table, it wasn't just the presentation that caught our attention; the flavors that danced on our palates validated our expectations. Yet, there was a discordant note that overshadowed the culinary symphony. The price tags seemed weighty for what we received on our plates. We expected a side of potatoes or a medley of fruits to accompany our meal, but alas, it was not to be. The culinary excellence was somewhat eclipsed by the feeling of an empty side. Amidst this slight disappointment, a delightful surprise awaited. The morning was serenaded by the rhythms of a live band, their melodies weaving through the air like a comforting embrace. This auditory treat fused seamlessly with the panoramic view of the wooded mountain forest that stretched before us. Music and nature coalesced, crafting an enchanting tapestry that colored the morning in hues of delight. Peddlers Cafe remained a tale of contrasts – where flavors thrived and prices quivered on the edge of satisfaction. The ambiance, a modern cabin escape, held promises of relaxation, while the music and views breathed life into the experience. As we savored our meal and the music, we couldn't help but acknowledge that this place, with all its facets, etched a unique chapter in our culinary journey.
