For the first time I have to say this experience was not a good one. I really like to leave positive reviews on something about a restaurant. The appetizer came out really fast but it was very cold (loaded chips) the cheese was hard and chips were cold and harder. My sons salmon was very good but his okra was tasteless and green beans he said were a bit funky. My husband and I had the thinnest ribeyes we have ever had and they were so salty, like over done with the seasoning (like strong dales) that my lips were burning. My sweet potato was over cooked and my husbands baked potato was under cooked (hard). Dropping $100 for that kind of meal was very disheartening. We also drove over 20 miles for it because it’s been real good in the past. The chickens will have one expensive doggie bag tomorrow!

Angie and Jon, the owners of this restaurant, have truly hit the jackpot with this place. The restaurant was filled with happy faces and the service was top-notch. The atmosphere made me feel like I was in Texas. Although it was a bit out of our way to get there, the extra time was well worth it. I enjoyed everything we ordered and was pleasantly surprised when the owners treated us to a free appetizer and let us sample their dessert at the end. Both my wife and I left feeling full, happy, and excited to return. The owners really know how to make their guests feel welcomed and appreciated.

I cannot praise this restaurant enough. The food is delicious, but the service is even better. The atmosphere is fantastic, with the owner constantly walking around and greeting all the guests. You won't find many places like this.
