Brown Bear Baking - EASTSOUND

We went on a Monday mid morning and it was extremely busy and congested in the shop. There is a single door serving as the entrance and exit, which made it difficult to try and maintain a line. Once we ordered, our pastries were out immediately, but it took about 10 minutes to get my coffee. The pastries were delicious! If crowds aren’t your thing, then maybe try to go during an off time?

Their food is wonderful. Well worth the wait in line Nice mix of locals and tourists. The wait was about 15-20 minutes to get to the counter. After that we got our food almost immediately. I got the Croque Monsieur and my wife got the smoked salmon quiche. Both were perfection. Their espresso game is strong as well. It’s nice to get in a long line and be rewarded with properly prepared pastry.

Great little bakery on the corner! Friendly server! Yummy cookies! Had a PB sandwich, it was 2 cookies sandwiching pb creme inside!

Very busy in the morning but everything served pretty quickly. Pastry is quite expensive. I think they are using good ingredients but 6,5$ per muffin is a bit too much. Coffee is better than at others coffeeshops but not decent anyway.

Amazing pastries, Horrible coffee! 5 stars on pastries with undrinkable grey gross bitter flavored water that somehow passes for coffee….how can the pastries be so good and the coffee so bad…? It really takes away from the enjoyment of the pastry unfortunately! Please up your coffee game.
