Blue Parrot - Eastpoint

Pretty good seafood. Lobster bisque (so-so). Great oysters. Fried Crab was good. Tap beer is warmer than normal at tiki bar. Bottles are COLD. Price point is good. Most seats aren't comfortable. Total experience A-/B+. Service was pretty good. Not a fan of the solo cups for lunch.

Don't know how many Mother's Day this makes our tradition of a beach trip followed by seafood on the bottom deck at Blue Parrot but this makes another year that my kids and I left happy. The view, the food, the drinks. My partners family finally moved to FL from Cali and this was our first year taking them and they loved it as well. We probably ordered half the menu. Cheryl (sp? was our server and she was so amazing. Dealt with our table of 9 misfits with genuine smiles. Happy Mother's Day Cheryl! Disclaimer: I have had amazing meals and not so great meals here in the past. It really seems hit or miss at times but when it hits it really hits. You WILL have to wait for a good table by the beach in season and good weather but it's really worth it and it just brings me tons of nostalgia. It's a great view and the perfect end to a day if you aren't in a hurry, but you shouldn't be in a hurry on a beach day.

Great place right on the water. There are multiple dining areas inside and out that all overlook the ocean. The service was great (Alexa was awesome! and the food was excellent. We had 10 people in our party and they still were able to keep up with no issues. I ordered the blackened Grouper tacos and they were great! I'll be back.

A deliciously prepared lunch for two. For drinks, we asked to be surprised. We got two very nice, fruity tasting (Mango and Black Cherry Rum) drinks. This made our afternoon visit feel like a tropical paradise experience.

We had some drinks at the outside bar and then sat in the restaurant so we could order food. Drinks we're okay, not great. We ordered a Mahi sandwich and some hush puppies which were both really good. Enjoyed our visit and would try it again.
