Hot Off The Coals - Easton

I don't visit this place as often as I'd like, but whenever I do, I always order the pit beef sandwich and fries. The pit beef is always cooked to perfection, and the fries are just the right kind of boardwalk fries. This time, I tried the cornbread, and it did not disappoint. The food here is always delicious!

I ordered the Quarter Rack Quarter Chicken with two small sides. The chicken was average, but the ribs were very dry and I couldn't finish them. The hush puppies (10) were also quite dry and difficult to chew. The pickle fries were alright, but they were too thick for my liking. Overall, I didn't feel that the meal was worth the $70 I spent through DoorDash.

We also wanted to sample a few appetizers, so we ordered Hush Puppies (10), Fried Green Beans, and Pickle Fries. The fried green beans and pickle fries were just as we anticipated, but the hush puppies were overly dry and too sweet. I’m hoping this was just an off night because of the Waterfowl Festival, but I’m not eager to return anytime soon.

Amazing food. Had a few questions about the menu but I gave them a call and the staff was so helpful. Will definitely be ordering again
