Well organized place with interesting workshops and tonic cuisine

I recently stayed in Spa Eastman and had a mixed experience. I would like to highlight some positive aspects, such as the recent finish of Finnish and infrared saunas. In addition, the quality of the food was good, as was the food service. We also enjoyed the walks nearby. However, there are some negative points I want to address. First of all, the reception staff was extremely rude, which significantly affected our experience as soon as we arrived. In addition, the rooms were extremely old and gave more impression of a motel than a spa, and cheap bed and pillows of poor quality I would like to note that we had taken the most spacious room expensive (see photos . There was no cleaning service and the rooms were not cleaned during our stay. Nobody came to bed. In addition, there were always small additional fees, even if we had opted for an all-inclusive package. For example, we were billed $5 for a latte, and we had to rent slippers at the spa when we forgot ours. If you want a new bathrobe (for example, if your hair is wet, they charge you $15. These are small things, but they created an unpleasant feeling and tarnished our experience. Finally, there is a huge renovation in progress (June 2023 that generates noise. In summary, the Eastman Spa presents positive aspects such as infrared saunas and food quality, as well as food service. However, problems related to hospitality staff, room condition and additional costs contributed to a disappointing experience. I sincerely hope that these problems will be taken into account and resolved in the future, so that guests can fully enjoy their stay at the spa.
