Peking Phoenix - Eastleigh

Out of all the reviews I've written as a local guide, this one has to be the worst. I went there today after reading the Google reviews, and it was a complete waste of time. When we arrived from our hotel, we asked if they could seat us at a table for four and whether they had any lagers on draft. The response we received was the rudest I have ever encountered in a restaurant. I'm not sure if the man was the owner or a waiter, but his reply was, "You asked for a table, so sit down and then I'll answer your question about the lagers." He stood there in a threatening manner, basically implying that we should either sit down or leave. I asked the same question again and pointed out his rudeness, to which he shrugged, tossed four menus onto the table, and walked away. Don’t waste your time here; the place didn’t look appealing at all, and the terrible attitude was just shocking.

Excellent food and clean restaurant. The food was very well presented. Must try and salt pepper squid and chicken curry, best in town by miles.

Fab food and great service. Would definitely recommend!

Nice place for groups. They seemed a bit flustered, and not too sure on what was available. The food eventually arrived and was very nice. Decor a bit grim.

This restaurant is a hidden gem, offering genuine flavors and a diverse selection of dishes. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there! I highly recommend it!
