The Ganges Indian - Eastbourne

This restaurant is a first class. the view of the marina is excellent. we were here for a special occasion and it certainly made it clear. eating was good, the staff was all super friendly and attentive. a must try! would like to go back when back in the opposite

To be honest, I can say that this is one of the best Indian restaurants I was in. very nicely spaced, modern, great location, perfect atmosphere, eating was cooked to perfection. very friendly service from all staff, especially the young lady who served us. I have given this restaurant 5 stars of 5 because it deserves definitiw and I thank all the staff very much for a fantastic evening.

The restaurant looks very nice and our table overlooked the harbour as requested,the staff obtained our drinks and took the food order very well,the starter(prawn puree) arrived in good time and was very nice, however when our mains arrived(chilli lamb shank) and sides, the lamb shank was not a shank but seem to be lamb curry with lots of lentils and a shank bone in the dish, the dish tasted powdery and was not the same as previous vists, mushroom rice and onion bahji not of best quality, after this experience we will not be visiting this restaurant again

Had a fab meal at Ganges .So nice booked for New year .Hopefully see you before that.Everyone always the chiefs who make the food ,so a BIG THANKYOU from me.

Everything is good at this excellent Indian. when they book, they ask for a table at the end with views of the boats. The best marina view I know in Britain. eating is complex and tastefully decorated with many unusual things.
