Friendly staff, clean and good prices. the carving was great! it hit me. I couldn't finish it. He was nice inside and outside.

Prison-style tucker. visited the farmers until the evening meal, as it was close to our hotel, it is a nice looking pub and the staff seems ok, but eating is quite little luster. I had the rag steak, which, while I was cooked as desired, was probably the most gristiest piece of **** I ever had to eat to make worse, it came with some very tired looking veggies, which I guess could have been prepared for lunch while leaving melbourne. my companion was a little better with her palm, although she reached the same veggie trauma. the only really positive was that the tap beer is brilliant, so its too bad the kitchen leaves the side down. we both stared after the buzz...read more

Rachel who served us was awesome. Friendly, happy and helpful. The meals we had, rump steak with veggies and chicken schnitzel with mash /veggies were delicious and cooked to perfection.

I would have given this establishment stars if not for a few minor things. Service was friendly, and the outside seating was very covid friendly, attractive and comfortable. I did find the table quite dusty as did another diner at another table. He got...a chux from the kitchen but I used a serviette to wipe it down. The area is on a main street corner, so probably from cars, but I felt the staff should have wiped all tables down before guests arrived. The beef cheeks were excellent as was my stuffed chicken. Both were on the specials board and each. My chicken was served with perfectly cooked broccoli and charred zucchini, but the mash was not very hot. The garlic sauce served separately was very runny and resembled and tasted like hot milk. I didn't use it at all, and I love garlic. My husband enjoyed his beef cheeks which were very tender and served with plenty of jus. My only other complaint is that they didn't have any alcohol free beer. A lot of places are stocking it now so that was disappointing.

Service from the kitchen is dreadful. Confirmed a possible swap of mash for chips whilst ordering/paying. When the food was ready to collect we recieved a lecture from the chef that the swap was not possible and that I should have paid more. I would...have been happy to pay but don't believe I should get a lecture when I had already confirmed with your staff. What was worse was that we ordered pork ribs with home made spicy bbq sauce. What we got was a very confused Indian style sauce on top of ribs. This was then served with a red wine jus. None of this meal made sense or tasted even close to nice. Unfortuntley paid each for a meal we hated and left.
