Franklins Tavern - East Victoria Park

Not the best ambience. Patrons can be a little/scary at times. A workers pub at best. Only place we could find that played "State of Origin" on a sml side tv. Meal average. Staff however were lovely.

I have been going to Franklins for many years for meals and drinks. I have also purchased a few coupons over the years. The last time I had a meal there was last Friday. I felt the steak was not as good as usual, it had quite a bit of grizzle on it. Service was ok, but not as friendly as it use to be. Today I realised I had another coupon that expired two days ago. I phoned the manager and explained the situation. He was not helpful at all and had a rude attitude. I have lost my $55 and feel angry about that and the way I was treated. After going to this pub for years I will not bother going back.

Year old can cook better, safe to say the drivethru bottle shop and tab keep this place afloat, its certainly not the food or atmosphere.

Went for steak special dollars . The toughest meat I had eaten in years disgusting food . .. so tough undercooked disgusting . Never again .

This place still serves good old fashioned style counter meals and at counter meal prices. Nothing fancy or gourmet, and reflected in the price!! Beer good price and cold too!
