Przekaż informację zwrotnąMany years ago, there was a pizza place in Champlain Heights called Hometown Pizza that we often visited for takeout. The family-owned shop eventually closed, and we forgot all about it. Recently, we came across a Hometown Pizza located on 57th Avenue and Knight Street, so we decided to see if it was the same place. Although the ownership had changed over the years, we recognized some familiar items on the menu. We decided to try the Factory Special pizza for $16.45 (an additional $2 for pineapple), which included ham, salami, pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, green peppers, cheese, and tomato sauce. The service was quick, and our pizza arrived in about 10-15 minutes. The interior of the restaurant was spacious but dimly lit, giving the impression that it was closed. In addition to their regular pizza, pasta, and chicken wing offerings, they also had some East Indian items on the menu.
Well when we moved to this area 8 years ago we tried many pizzas delivery places. Settled on this nice consistent restaurant. The last few times we've ordered something has changed. Today took the cake. Ordered 2 large pizzas. Paid extra for extra cheese. Pizza was horrible. Factory special had little to no meat and no extra cheese. Lady on phone was cold.50 dollars down the drain. Should have ordered Chinese. Won't be back.
Ordered for work, a group of Delivery was on time. Pizza was hot and fresh. No complaints from anyone. Would definitely order again.
I enjoy the roti and butter chicken pizza. But like delfonso said in google reviews, the pizza is full of hair. The coke tastes like onions.
Remember the good ol' days when pizza crust was thick, yet crispy? Remember when you could pull a slice from the box and the cheese would string as long as your arm? Remember when toppings were REAL, tasted fresh and made you keep eating slice...after slice... Call Hometown! Don't think. Call
