Hy's Steak House - EAST TORONTO

AMAZING! From the food, to the ambiance and the service, everything was amazing!! The Gorgonzola Filet Mignon was out of this world and our server went above and beyond to make our evening special.The manager (I cant remember her name but it was a blonde, tall, slim lady) also stopped by to make sure everything was great.I will make sure I pass this wonderful experience to all my friends/family and guests.

We had a ladies' night out for my birthday celebration. The food was excellent, and the caesar salad was made from scratch at our table, which was impressive. Our server Steve gave us the best service and was very pleasant. We had a great time, and also enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere created by the elegant interiors and the courtesy of the servers. Highly recommend this place!

Service was very good and place was busy. pretty pricey but food was very good. coming back for lunch next time i'm downtown

Excellent service from the time we entered until the moment we left! Our server was quick and thoughtful, and gave us just the right amount of attention so that we could enjoy our meal and conversation in peace, but never felt like we were waiting. Very nice ambiance -- dimly lit, high ceilings, live music (piano & guitar), mix of tables and booths allows for private conversations and intimacy, good air-flow and delicious scents coming from the kitchen. Great spot for a special occasion!

I make an annual visit in conjunction with a convention. After ordering a 'Dunkin' shaved beef sandwich, I can settle in with a great glass of Saltram Barossa Valley Shiraz. Both Carol (server) and Mike (bartender) serve up drinks with speed and accuracy that is the envy of rest of the Toronto bar community. The menu is varies and each menu item I/ve sampled is delicious. If you have the time to sit down and enjoy, this is the place to spend time.
