China Buffet - East Tawas

Pretty good sushi! Very reasonably priced. Above average when it comes to the Chinese buffet standard. Nice servers as well. They also had pretty good variety when it comes to their food options.

Not only one of the best Chinese buffets I've been but hands down one of the overall best buffets I've been to. Everything was fresh and hot and delicious. Will definitely be stopping here again.

My family loves coming here. Tons of food options and everything tastes pretty good. Kids love being able to pick whatever they want and have multiple desserts! Also, our bill for a family of 4 was cheaper than we expected!

We have been to 5 different Chinese restaurants in the surrounding area and the strange thing is that every dish you order is sweet. Every place puts sugar in everything. There is not a single Chinese restaurant that serves dishes as they do in the down-state of Michigan. The China Buffet is the worst place of them all. Not a single dish is made fresh. Everything they serve is pre-cooked frozen items that are microwaved and put out. I’m not sure how they received 5 stars from any reviewer. I can only assume that they base their reviews on the all-you-can-eat and the price. There is no service because it is a buffet. Unless you have real Americanized Chinese food you can not really see and taste the difference that there is from every restaurant in upper lower Michigan and the lower part of the state in Macomb, Oakland and the surrounding counties and notice the vast difference in taste and quality.

Had a party of 5. We were greeted and seated right away. Staff were a joy to talk with. Food was awesome. Area was kept clean and food was fresh.
