Saladworks - East Rutherford

The salad was of good quality, but I found it quite pricey, especially since they don't provide takeout bags or sell them. Unfortunately, my salad spilled everywhere because it wasn't properly secured. I recommend asking for your salad to be taped shut and bringing your own bag.

I ordered food online and went to pick it up, only to find that my order had been given to someone else! They didn’t even apologize for the mix-up. I showed them my order on my phone, but they claimed another customer had ordered the exact same items as me. Really? Since I was hungry, I decided to wait for them to remake my order. However, the sandwich could have used more chicken salad; it felt like I was just eating bread. The market salad was fine, but overall, the service left much to be desired. Throughout the entire interaction, none of the three staff members said they were sorry for the inconvenience. Good customer service makes a big difference! To top it off, it wasn’t even during a busy lunch hour. I can only imagine how unhappy the person who received my order must have been too. That’s two dissatisfied customers right there.

I never went to Salad Works but I can honestly say I really enjoyed d sad I I ended up going 3 days in a row since it's on my way home from work. I passed up Halal Chicken Lamb over Rice for Salad Works. 2 things I really didn't like and it may keep me from returning. I'm paying 13$ for a salad so if I ask for and extra thing of dressing I wouldn't think it's an issue or a charge. The first two days the girls gave me the extra and even a smaller sample of another dressing. So I tipped her. Today I go and when I walked in I was the only one snd I wasn't very friendly. They just stared and when I ordered my salad the girls were all Hispanic and spoke perfect English I'm sure they were American but when I when I asked for a second thing of dressing they started talking Spanish. It wasn't very nice. I find it very disrespectful to do that considering you English is as good as mine. I won't be going back.

I had the most unpleasant experience at this location. We came in today to buy a salad. The 3 workers standing in the corner did not acknowledge me and laughed directly in my face. I am a part of the LGBTQ community and the disrespect shown to me and the blatant disregard for manners is astonishing. She laughed with her two colleagues right in front of my face and could not even ask me what I wanted to order. They then started speaking Arabic and laughed once again. I have never felt this publicly embarrassed. I will never return here and they should learn how to be educated, personable and overall not judgmental. They should be ashamed of themselves.
