The V Word - East Riding of Yorkshire

Vegan and kindly, what is it? we are desperate for veggie and vegan cafes/restaurants in the hull area, so was delighted to hear about the w word in hessle, especially after a recommendation from a vegan friend. So we decided to make the short trip for jamie's birthday. the caffe is a bit out of sight, at the end of walrus arcade I had never heard of. in the interior is a cozy, comfortable place with four tables and a lounge area. there is also an excellent seating area in free with another four or five tables. the first thing I noticed was a rainbow flag on a table that told me that this is a friendly caffe. we had recommended the quiche that has proved to be an excellent recommendation. sam, the owner told me the recipe is a trade secret, but I will definitely have it again. one of the best quiches I've ever tried. I doubt it was vegan at all and did not contain eggs. we will definitely be back here and if they are looking for a small friendly place to eat home cooked style vegan eating, it is worth the trip to hessle, even if they are not vegan.

Beautiful place and even more lovely dining-friendly staff, great atmosphere and great portions! I love to come here for eating a I am not a vegan! can not recommend this place enough!

To share a V-Burger and a hot dog with chips, we came with a huge bag of eating, gave us two until we burst, the möwen got a bit of brot from the hotdog, some chips and also drill! we have brought a beautiful mixed salad to the house, which made us an salat sandwich this evening! when he is a meat eater, he really enjoyed lunch and said he had the hot dog again. large service was also not quite ready so he was offered a place and asked if he wanted a glass water while waiting.

Yay! at last it was about this visit in this beautiful caffe and was not disappointed! I had the hummus and the falafel package, which was absolutely delicious as the fresh salad served with it. I can't praise this place enough... wonderful, delicious food and beautiful, friendly staff please give it a try .... even if they don't vegan I can guarantee that they are not disappointed! thank you, youngs, we'll see you again soon!

First visit today got to say the food was amazing super friendly staff will defo be coming back again,also Amazing value for money defo recommend,also love that it's dog friendly
