Bridlington Seafront Cookhouse Pub

It’s a lovely bar/restaurant but the food has really gone down hill wasn’t great. I had a jacket potatoe with cheese and Beans and the beans were all dry like they were over cooked the potatoe was hard and very dry and bland came with a side salad which contained few pieces of lettuce and 2 pieces of tomato’s. My husband got a mixed grill again the meats weren’t cooked enough tiny pieces of meat and the peas and chips were very dry it’s like they chucked all the food in a microwave. Thing is if you order a mixed grill you expect to get decent sized tasty meats especially for the price you pay. The staff were great tho shame about the food. Sorry we won’t be returning

We were all disappointed, First of all the table booked for 5pm managed to sit down at 5.30 only to find that we were drinks missing,got that sorted. First course we had to send the soup back as it was cold, main course christmas dinner the veg was very hard even the peas very small portions, desserts were even smaller. after desserts we thought off going to play cards and have a drink went too the bar at 19.03hrs only to find out the bar was closed even though we were staying in the hotel, it would have nice to be informed that this would be happening, overall this spoilt christmas day, Sorry to say we will not be having christmas with you again

Waitress's attitude stunk. Eye rolling when given money towards the bill for our first round of drinks. We were a party of 8 and the bill could not be split for each individual to pay for what they had. The waitress said it was to much effort to do this. Manager was just as useless in regards to the bill. Some of our group have had to put money aside to be able to attend the meal due to the cost of living crisis and the night was ruined by the staff. Also to say it was 5 days before Christmas no festive atmosphere in the place. Disappointed which is a shame as had many good meals previously. Food was good though just **** service.

Good pub food but could be served on a plate the isn't cold. Their are many posts about Luke warm meals so needs sorting out!
