Gregg's East Providence

The food was truly delightful. The scallops were extraordinary, and the baked potato was cooked to perfection. The Caesar salad was incredible; you could easily tell that the dressing was freshly made in-house. And let's not forget the rolls—those fresh bread rolls were simply delicious. I believe they're called Ciabatta bread, but I'm not entirely sure. The wait staff was quick, attentive, and courteous, making the whole experience enjoyable. The food arrived promptly. I highly recommend exploring their menu; there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

I hadn't been here in 10 years since I moved away, and it did not disappoint. Just as I remembered, the place was clean, affordable, and offered exquisite dishes and remarkable pastries. The only downside was that I ate so much I had to skip dessert! The staff was consistently friendly and welcoming. Our waitress, Gail, was like a favorite aunt—very personable. The floor manager, whom I affectionately called "Mr. Sunshine," was another highlight since he had moved from Florida. It's refreshing to visit a restaurant where the employees genuinely want to be there and are invested in providing excellent service.

Gregg is an excellent spot for a family meal. They begin your dining experience with their homemade dumplings and warm rolls. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient. The food has a comforting, homemade quality to it, with generous portion sizes. And let's talk about the desserts – absolutely out of this world! They're famous for their huge, delicious cakes, which you can even take home if you'd like. We've been visiting Gregg for years and plan to keep coming back as long as they're around.

Let's start with Desserts, so many possibilities! Chocolate cake was delicious and chocolate chip cookies were delicious. Burger was perfectly cooked and pineapple on it? Yes, please! Turkey dinner was so good and perfect comfort food.

Loved food the service and desserts. We had a young waitress who made us laugh we decided to get one more drink before we left so we asked for the check and a painkiller. She brought us the check and we asked about the painkiller and she thought we were kidding and was referencing and Ibuprofen lol she's like seem like she was too young to know what a painkiller was it's a rum drink that they offer there she was funny and bubbly
