I visited this restaurant a few months ago and had a disappointing experience because the shrimp I ordered was not clean. I decided to give it another try on July 3rd at 7:20 PM, this time with my sister. Unfortunately, the cashier, who has been working there for years, was very rude to us. He insisted he wouldn't take any orders unless we had called in advance, and his attitude was unprofessional—rolling his eyes and acting quite disrespectfully. I didn’t appreciate his behavior at all. There were other patrons waiting, but he spent a lot of time outside in the back parking lot instead of attending to customers. His attitude really makes me reluctant to return to this place.
However, my next visit was a different experience. The Korean lady at the front had a bit of an attitude and told me I could handle things myself, even though the seasoning wasn't available. I ordered crispy wings, but received them soft, and my corn was served cold as if it had just come out of the refrigerator. To make matters worse, I was overcharged for the cooking fee. I expected to pay $1 or perhaps $2, but she charged me $5, which seemed really odd. Overall, I spent a good amount of money and was quite disappointed with the experience. I would rate it a 1 out of 10 and would not recommend this restaurant, as the food quality was lacking this time and I felt overcharged.
This is the worst I've gone to for fish. The employee's are the worst, the cashier came from outside to the register practically naked. Everyone does not eat spicy and I requested nonspicy. The hushpuppies the worst. My experience was a negative and I recommend not eating here the cook Lord have mercy I had to ask him to wash his hands after he came from outside and he thought I was rude for saying that to ? him. Honestly he looked nasty and I still ordered food thinking just maybe it would good. Well my flounder was just like rubber and the whiting I was told was horrible and didn't even have a whiting taste.
The atmosphere was very homey and the service reminded me of a family at a fish fry. The food was pretty ok but they ran out of ranch which was a bummer seeing that I had about 30 wings.Food: 3/5
