Food looked great, such a variety of fresh danishes, muffins, sausage rolls etc plus usual breakfast items. Only thing missing was no bbq sauce, hp or tomato sauce Shen we asked so scrambled eggs were a bit eggy. Smoothies looked great but a bit over priced st $11. The fresh food market and actual garden beds were excellent and great concept, worth a visit
I ate here three days out of four that I stayed in Perth in 2016. Really great selection of coffee and organic healthy breakfast brunch options. Not the cheapest, but if someone else is paying take them up on it! A great, friendly, outdoors option.
Found this popular cafe after riding the yellow CAT bus from cbd. Brunch of eggs on sourdough coffee was delicious and nice setting. Bit pricey in comparison with other cafes but premium for quality produce.
Nice coffee and pleasant food even if slightly pricey. Good city stop if you are after some organic produce in a Saturday morning.
The Perth City Farm and City Farm Cafe have a focus on teaching organic and biodynamic farming methods, and they employ these same methods in the cultivation of their own produce. The location is right on the Yellow CAT bus line, next to Claisbrook Train station, and has ample parking very convenient. The atmosphere is just as you 'd expect, a 'rustic farmyard ' meets 'urban bustle, ' and the sound of a rooster crowing juxtaposes the noise of commuters on the train line. The cafe itself is unpretentious, and is surrounded by a quadrangle flanked with old farmhouse type buildings. On Saturday mornings, they even have a farmer 's market set up there, which is small but again has a focus on produce that is organic, ethical and sustainable. The city farm cafe itself has a well designed menu, with vegetarian and vegan options as well as more classic breakfast/brunch 'staples. ' The scrambled eggs with aged cheddar and chives, and the brekkie burger are go to favourites of mine. Whilst the food is not cheap, it 's fairly priced given it 's high quality and largely organic origins. And everything uve had on the menu (most of the dishes now, to be honest has been superb. The coffee is also very good, and there is always a selection of sweet treats in the cabinet, and house made jams and pickles for sale. I would highly recommend the City Farm Cafe for individuals or groups, who appreciate good quality food and are happy to pay fair prices for it. However if going with a group on a weekend, I 'd recommend booking (that 's right, they even take bookings!! . I 'll probably see you there soon.
