Jaws East Perth Japanese Restaurant

Having lived in Japan, it is often difficult to get from a sushi place that is even slightly similar to the original. In a recent move to Perth, after a series of hits and (mostly) Misses, this Jaws is simply the best we had. Authentic, fresh and well presented, with Japanese staff who are expected to be exceptionally polite and sweet. So glad you stay on the street! !

Very nice little cozy place. Eat very fresh and best miso soup ever. Always feel welcome by staff and chefs there. Parking is also easy.

You have wonderful lunch boxes. I always come by when I work from home.

Undoubtedly the best and most delicious sushi in Perth. Authentic, superbly fresh and lovingly executed dishes, warm, friendly and efficient service, convenient location, so reasonably priced. We are so glad to see you open for dinner again guys! It is sad we cannot travel, Jaws brings us back to some of our most happy memories of Japan. You can taste the chef's attention to detail here from the freshness of the seafood to the texture of the sushi rice, the palate-cleansing warm tea and even the water. Must try dishes are the tataki beef, hotate (scallop) sushi, aburi salmon, crab stick special sushi, spicy prawn sushi, Kingfish, horse mackerel and unagi (eel) sushi. Their fried treats such as chicken karaage, crab meat balls and takoyaki are all yummy too. We also love the fish wings when available. Save room for dessert, all of them were our favorite!

The BEST Japanese spot for lunch! Amazing quality, flavour, and not too heavy! Staff are so lovely!
