The 5th Quarter Sports Pizzeria

I absolutely love this restaurant! As a regular customer, I look forward to visiting every weekend with my family. My husband and I appreciate the affordable drinks, while our kids relish the delicious pizza. The staff is friendly and the service is consistently good. Like any place, they might have an off night occasionally, but it's never anything serious. I highly recommend it to everyone—it's worth every penny!

The food was excellent, especially the homemade fries. We enjoyed a lot during our visit. Our son ordered pizza for his family, and they loved it. However, my husband was disappointed with his two Chicago dogs; they were served cold instead of at room temperature. I suggested he send them back, but he didn't want to cause a fuss. I ordered the Italian beef, which was alright, but I couldn't really taste the cheese. The peppers were good, but overall, the sandwich was just average. We'll definitely try the pizza when we come back next time!

Our first visit was just two of us. Food was good and service efficient friendly. Our next visit with a larger group on 10-14-12 was not a big one. Even if a large group is longer responsible for the preparation of food, an almost 45-minute waiting seemed excessive if there were not many other diners. The food came out sporadically and an order was completely overlooked and not served until brought to the attention of the server. We had to request straws for our drinks and cutlery. Maybe a new server? All in all, everyone liked his food. An exception is that the rolls used on the tenderer have a strange taste that spoils an otherwise delicious sandwich. The bathrooms also have a strange, almost overwhelming, deodorizer? Smell. We will give them another attempt to support local businesses.

Fantastic pizza! I absolutely love their pizza and order one every week. The drinks are excellent, and the ambiance is really nice. It's a perfect spot for events or parties!

We stopped by the Fifth Quarter last weekend and had a pizza and onion rings, both were delicious. There were two huge screens with baseball on, which I didn't prefer, and when I asked ,they even changed one big screen to SPEED channel so I could watch the drag races. The waitress was very attentive and super friendly. We will be back for sure. Thanks for the great food and service. EP, IL
