Damion’s Rib Haven - East Moline

We ordered the rack of pork ribs, BBQ mac, BBQ tacos, beans, and potato salad. Everything was excellent, and I'd definitely order them again. The ribs were particularly impressive; the tips of the bones were easy to pull out without any mess, and the remaining meat was tender enough to cut with a fork. The BBQ tacos had a nice balance of coleslaw, meat, and tortilla. The potato salad stood out with its bright yellow color and a dominant sweet relish flavor. While the atmosphere wasn't anything extraordinary, the food was truly fantastic.

The vinegar-based sauce wasn't my favorite, but the ribs were incredibly tender—they just fell off the bone! The sides were also nice, and the staff were very friendly.

I rated this restaurant 5 stars because, even if the food hadn’t met my expectations, the delightful lady on the phone would have made up for it. Thank you for your outstanding customer service—it's something you rarely find these days. I called on June 17, 2022, around 6:30 PM.

My wife and I love trying local BBQ places when visiting a new area. Well, we definitely weren 't disappointed with Damion 's Rib Haven!You can smell the smoke when you walk through the door.The smoke on the ribs penetrated all the way to the bone, and the meat fell off the bones. The chicken had a wonderful smokeyness to it, too. Both were covered in BBQ sauce, which also had a great smokeyness to it, too. It was a MESS to eat, but you don 't go to a BBQ place if you 're afraid of getting a bit messy!The mac and cheese was surprisingly garlicky, but very good.The BBQ spaghetti was good, though not knock-your-socks-off good.My wife didn 't care for the potato salad. All she could taste was the mustard. But that was our only real complaint with the food.The staff was super-friendly and very helpful when we had questions.I 'd suggest better signage outside. The locals definitely knew about this place, but the sign outside confusingly says Breakfast at Berries. Clever, but confusing.All-in-all, a wonderful experience. If we 're in the area again, we 'll definitely be stopping again!

Best restaurant in town. Great service, great food, great prices. Home made fries. BBQ Taco? 's are a must. If you want the best ribs pulled pork sandwiches in town; Wed. Sat. get there early...!!!
