R-time At Rene's - East McKeesport

Alfredo sauce was good. Waitress was great. But place is going downhill. I've been going here for over 20 yrs and the booths are torn apart and seems like quality is going down. I still will go because I enjoy family owned businesses but things needto step up

Wish I could have eaten there. A friend recommnded the fish so drove almost an hour to get there and find they are closed for the week. I even checked their facebook page and website before going to make sure they were open and nothing said they wereclosed so wasted my time gas to find them closed.

Over the last 25 years, as we have moved and lived all over Europe and the US, while keeping a permanent hub in Allegheny county, we have remained fervent patrons and customers at Rene's. The genuine quality of their food, simple but high quality andmoderately priced, and the friendly welcoming staff, have kept us returning, over and over.

Phenomenal fish sandwiches. Best anywhere in the country. Some claim to be the biggest, some claim to be the best. Rene's is both!!!

Great place, Great food, Great prices, efficient and friendly staff. Always a great place to have a meal. I tried to have lunch there yesterday and after checking the opening time on the website was greeted by a paper notice hanging on the door of thesummer hours. opening at 3pm instead of 11am. If you have a website ,that should have been updated as well. A paper noticehanging on your door, isn't the best way to keep your patrons up to date.
