Jaz's Fish - East Lothian

Very disappointing. Made to wait 15 minutes for food that had been clearly been sat there for a LONG time, and was solid as a rock and inedible. Staff were rude, and being charged that amount for that standard of food is appalling.

For £8.60 a fish supper it’s as cheap as you’ll ever find these days. It came with 2 pieces of some kind of cheap battered fish. Chips were ok. Overall nothing special but for the money it’s ok.

We popped in on a lovely day so did expect a bit of a queue. However it was a pretty long wait for a simple bag of chips and there was no indication given about how long we would wait. If we had known I think we would have left it. Unfortunately I think the very busy staff had to prioritise the deliveries rather than the in person customers. There were also a lot of people who had clearly ordered by phone in advance who still had to wait for their order. Chips were ok but not the best considering they should have been very fresh. Staff not particularly welcoming, perhaps due to the volumes they were dealing with. Doubtful we will visit again. Also unclear on what they cook in and it was too noisy to ask.

Ordered food on just eat for delivery, after the wait time went fom 30 minutes to nearly two hours I rang the takeaway to cancel, the man I spoke to took my address and said was still going to be delayed so I said I would cancel, he said OK. I have been charged the full amount over sixteen pounds as they told just eat the food was already prepared which at no time was that said to me or I wouldn't have cancelled. I've had no food and no refund. If you want to risk throwing money down the drain use this place, I will never shop here again. Not nice people and can't be trusted

Was told our order would be ready at 5.50, wasnt actually ready until 6.25!! I wouldnt have minded the wait if the food was nice but it wasnt, it was over cooked and very greasy! When i called to speak to someone all i hot from the girl was bad attitude! Wont be back and wouldnt rec to anyone!
