Diggory's - East Lothian

This charming and cozy little café in the beautiful city of Haddington offers amazing coffee, and the staff are incredibly lovely and friendly. There’s also a wonderful selection of cakes!

This coffee shop is bustling and located in a charming town. However, while the furniture appeared clean, it felt sticky to the touch. The service was quite slow. I also have reservations about the sandwiches; they were made without the use of disposable gloves, and there was no visible evidence of hand washing or cleaning in the area. For anyone with dietary restrictions—whether medical, cultural, or religious—I'm unsure how cross-contamination could be prevented. I could be mistaken, but the overall situation didn’t seem reassuring.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for lunch or coffee. We ordered the potatoes with crowned chicken, and my wife had the chili con carne—they were both excellent. This was our third visit, and it was just as good as our last two experiences.

This is my second visit, and on both occasions, I have been very pleased with the quality of the coffee and scones. The staff are excellent at managing seating when it gets busy and are overall quite welcoming. This has definitely become my favorite coffee shop in Haddington.

I visited this café today during the holiday and was very impressed. The café is lovely, with a wonderful staff and excellent service. The BLT panini was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The homemade scones are delicious as well. I will definitely return whenever I'm back in Haddington!
